Well, it would have to be short scripts since no-one reads feature scripts on here, it just takes too long.
Why not let us decide whether your short scripts are any good? Or you could always write a new one...

if people show some interest i propose we go like this...
2 threads....the first one containing the short scripts, no comments, questions or any other topics, just all the entries.
and we have the second thread for all the comments.
i would also like to limit any comments to positive ones. if you don't like a particular script, your silence will be eloquent enough...and that way we should avoid a slanging match.
the only way people learn is if you tell them where things are going wrong. Its doing that in a way which isnt insulting which is the key.
True.
If you're going to write then you need to be able to take constructive criticsm.
CONSTRUCTIVE criticism mind. Not 'that's shit'. Try and help if you can.
I'm up for it. I'm writing a short as we speak (about a murderous couple who own a B + B)
As am I
(up for it that is, not writing TLD's short)
what are the rules? Oh, and its bullshit if you can't say anything bad about a screenplay. thats the whole purpose of posting them on the net.
I say we have a subject everyone has to write something about. Not just randomly write a short. Like last time, where everything took place 'in a locked room'.
This time, well, another subject.
I think a specfied subject may reduce the number of entries, but see what others think.
How about these as rules:
Rules for entries:
#1. Scripts must be between 1 and 6 pages in length.
#2. Scripts must be submitted in either plain text or PDF files
#3. Scripts must be sent to appropriate person to be put up on external site NOT the forum.
#4. Scripts must be properly formatted.
Rules for readers: [Scripts will be put up on closing date for entries]
#1. Readers can post their comments about the scripts on the specified thread in the forum (Constructive criticism is welcome, nasty comments are not!) Please also decide on your 1st, 2nd and 3rd favourite.
#2. People wanting to read submitted scripts must read and mark all of them! (Fair is fair!)

I think the idea of a themed topic to write around is a good one- it will make comparison et al rather interesting
Kev's rules seem fair enough, but having one that dictates a marker must read and mark ALL will make the process very time consuming and there will be probably much less feed back
I agree with most of Kev's rules except the external posting one. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't post them all in one sticky thread.
I think it should be on a theme aswell. Like the 'all set in a locked room' we had last time.
I'm up for it.
